Why do you want to become a priest? I want to be a priest because I love God’s kids, and in my view there’s no more personal and intimate way to find Christ’s heart and His kids than to be a priest.

Who is your favorite saint & why? I love St Augustine because he’s brilliant, but he always refers to God as the source of his brilliance.

What is your favorite quote? “We are at the end of Christendom. Not of  Christianity, not of the Church, but of Christendom.”-Ven Fulton Sheen

If you could talk to anyone in the course of our history (dead or alive), who would it be and why? I’d love to talk to Fulton Sheen because he seemed to have insight into the future of the Church and because of his heart for Catholicism.

What is your favorite past time or hobby? Gardening, cooking, biking

Do you have a favorite bible verse? 1 Pet 4:8 “Brothers, let your love for one another be intense, because love covers a multitude of sins.”

Did anyone (priest, religious sister, friend. etc.) make an impact on your decision to enter seminary?
Fr Adam Ahern was a great help and motivator.

What is your favorite form of prayer?  Silence with the Blessed Sacrament.

What is your favorite title of the Blessed Mother and/or Jesus? The Child Jesus

Any advice for someone discerning the priesthood or religious life? It’s not us discerning God’s will, but a response to the love and voice of God. If our discernment isn’t rooted in love for God, it’s not discernment. We can’t discern God’s will without God.
