Why do you want to become a priest? I want to become a priest so I can share my faith with as many people as possible. I know there are lots of people out there who are far away in their faith in God, so I want to help bring them back to him.

Who is your favorite saint & why? My favorite saint is St. Peter because one of my favorite stories about him was how he went from denying Jesus three times to telling Jesus he loved him three times because I always like redemption stories like that.

What is your favorite quote? “We have to remember these days, because there’s no guarantee that they’ll last forever. Enjoy them as long as the last. I love you guys”- Sebastian Vettel

If you could talk to anyone in the course of our history (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
St. Paul because the way he is able to express his faith without the fear of persecution inspires me a lot.

What is your favorite past time or hobby? I love running, weightlifting, playing tennis and video games, and watching NFL games and F1 races.

Do you have a favorite bible verse? Romans 1: 8-15 - “ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God’s will the way may be opened for me to come to you. I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles. I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.”

Did anyone (priest, religious sister, friend. etc.) make an impact on your decision to enter seminary?
My high school chaplain Fr. Dan and my parish priest Fr. Joe helped give me advice during my discernment to enter seminary.

What is your favorite form of prayer? I really love praying the rosary and the liturgy of the hours.

What is your favorite title of the Blessed Mother and/or Jesus? My favorite title is Our Lady of Providence.

Any advice for someone discerning the priesthood or religious life? No matter if the end result works out or not, always trust in yourself and in God. God always has a plan for you, but sometimes you might realize what he wants for you in the most unexpected way.
